The Gretsch G9126-ACE Guitalele - Hi this is Mike with Gretsch guitars. I'm here with musicians friend today to talk about the Gretsch G 9126 ACE. This is the acoustic cutaway electric guitar ukulele, very unique little instrument. What it is is we have a tenor sized ukulele with six strings tuned A to A in guitar intervals it's as if you had a capo on the fifth fret of your guitar.  So it goes all the way from A to A when you play it like a regular guitar and what it gives you is ukulele tones for guitar players. If you want the full range of the guitar intervals you've got it with the G 9126 play regular guitar chords on it,  but any style of music on it, fingerstyle, very pretty. The instrument features a solid quarter sawn mahogany top even laminated sides and backs mahogany one-piece mahogany neck, grover stay type machines and aquila strings top three are Aquila, the bottom three would be normal classical guitar strings.
